Sales
The sales (Point-Of-Sale) module ties all of the client, employee, and inventory sections together. This is the area of Insight that replaces and improves on your cash register. Check-in and check-out can be done in seconds since most of the information is recorded at the time of booking the appointment.

Tanning
The Tanning module recognizes the unique nature of your service and tracking needs. Whether booking by the session or by the minute, Insight handles it all from booking beds to charging against active tanning packages.
- Tanning packages can be sold for either numbers of minutes or numbers of sessions
- Sell "unlimited" tanning packages with an expiry date
- Tanning beds can be booked from the appointment module
- Tanning services can be booked in 1 minute increments
- Tanning services are automatically paid for by active tanning packages kept in the client's file
Inventory
The Insight Inventory module will track all of your Retail and Professional products easily and accurately. It also tracks your Vendors, Categories, Product Lines, and even prints barcode labels if necessary.

- Suppliers can be given their own passwords so sales reps can create purchase orders if you allow them to
- Unlimited number of departments can be further broken down into an unlimited number of categories for detailed reporting purposes

Payroll
Flexibility is the keyword of our payroll system. Whether you pay hourly wage, salary, commission or a combination of salary and/or commission, our system will make it simpler. Gone are the days of laboring for hours with a box of receipts and a calculator every month. Just set up each of your employees once and your payroll can be calculated (including all tax deductions) in a matter of seconds. The amount of time that this feature will save you can pay for the entire Insight system within the first few months.

- Salary can be paid weekly, bi-weekly, semi-monthly, or monthly
- Unlimited product & service commission "schemes" means you can have a different one for each employee if necessary

- Product or service commissions can be based on gross sales or net profit
- Product commissions can be based on the total value of products sold or the percentage of products sold in relation to total service sales
- Gross pay can be calculated as salary plus commission or you can choose to pay the higher value of salary or commission

- "Special" deductions can be a fixed dollar amount or a percentage of the calculated gross pay

Reports
Insight records vast amounts of information about your clients, employees, payroll, inventory, appointments and sales. All of that information is useless to you unless you can view it in a meaningful format. To develop our reporting module, we consulted with salon and spa owners and, in many cases, had them design the actual report. By doing this, we ensure that the information shown on our reports is relevant and understandable. To list all of the reports and the information that they give you would be beyond the scope of this web page. However, there are two main features that put our reporting system ahead of our competition...security and flexibility.
Security

- When you purchase Insight, we include one full year of unlimited technical support via our toll-free number. When you are comparing support plans make sure they are giving you toll-free support. The fact that we are paying all the long distance charges is a great motivator to make sure we have created the easiest most reliable software available. In most cases you will also notice that our toll-free support package is actually less expensive than our competitors packages where you pay extra for long distance charges.
- Another important factor is that you will also receive all of the updates made to Insight for a full year after your purchase absolutely free. These updates add new features (as requested by our clients), improve the software (based on comments from you), and include all of the payroll tax updates (something our competitors like to charge extra for). Our commitment is to continue to improve Insight every day to ensure that we are meeting the changing needs of all our users.
- After your first year is complete, you will have the option to renew your contract for another year at the rates listed under Annual Contract in the table below. Simply pay the renewal fee and another full year of toll-free support and software updates are yours. If you choose not to renew, your software will continue to work since you own it and all of the information stored by Insight. We will always be available to offer emergency support for a “per incident” charge and you are free to contact us about purchasing software updates individually.
